A desire to share knowledge
In my life, I have had many teachers and mentors who have greatly influenced my journey. Thanks to their knowledge and guidance, I have traversed my path and become who I am today. Therefore, recognizing the crucial role of knowledge sharing, I make every effort not to miss any opportunity to share my expertise and experience, whether it's at work or outside of it.
How it all started
As a graduate of a national physics and mathematics school, I had a solid foundation in the exact sciences. Starting from my first year as an undergrad, I began coaching students for math and physics competitions. Many of my students went on to become winners in prestigious competitions like the IMC and IMO.
I have been a team leader for the national team at the International Mathematics Competition twice.
Talks
I always strive to complement each of my presentations with interesting demos and interactivity to better engage the audience with the topic of my talk. These photos are from the charity event KIMEP Talks.
Later, my team and I organized KBTU Talks and AlmaU Talks, which were charitable events that helped several individuals in their fight against illnesses.
Mentorship
I always enjoy mentoring my colleagues, teams of students, and schoolchildren at various events, such as the FIRST Robotics Competition, Technovation, Imagine Cup, and so on.
Hackathons
Over the years of working at Microsoft and Sheberkhana, my team and I have organized dozens of hackathons, including the first IoT Hackathon in Kazakhstan.
Volunteering
Every week for over a year I instructed a course on “Competitive Programming” for children from underprivileged families, some of whom became winners at the district-level informatics competitions.
Hour of Code
Almost every year, my colleagues and I participate in hosting the Hour of Code.
